Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!
Sending lot of love to all & hoping everyone enjoyed the romantic vibes today
This is the 7th Valentine's day I've spent with my boyfriend, with the exception of one when he was on the road, and he still goes all out, surprised/spoiled me with a dozen roses, wine, balloons, chocolates, ultra lovely card, and a new Iphone 5s. He actually shot the photos in this post, all unedited and straight from the camera, used the 'grainy art' filter on my Olympus Pen.
I'm wearing my DAZEY 'No Scrubs' crop top, vintage sweater, and a floral crown I made before hand.
I decided to pro long DAZEY's V-Day Sale till the end of the weekend:)

McQueen Dream

Alexander McQueen was a true visionary, a man who knocked down a lot of barriers in the fashion industry and he was one of my first favorite designers.  Although his final days were tragic, his time spent here was pure magic! I really didn't mean to rhyme, but how else would you describe his collections (or Lady Gaga's shoes in the Bad Romance video?!)? Everything was so well rounded and conceptual. I have the Savage Beauty book on my coffee table, it's one of my go to's when I'm in need of a little inspiration.
Today's look feature's a the iconic McQueen 'Skull' scarf, I honestly think there wasn't a girl out there who didn't want one after seeing them draped around the shoulders of the Olsen twins, worn constantly by Mischa Barton, or when Nicole Richie tied hers around her head at the beach- I have yet to try this look, not an easy one to pull off without looking like Captain Jack. Mine was a Valentine's day gift from my boyfriend 3 years ago,  and is still the perfect accessory to make any outfit have a little bit more of an edge, and let's be honest skulls are just badass and timeless.
I wore it with the Sabrina bell sleeve dress from Gypsy Warrior, I am obsessed with it's Penny Lane vibe, and then threw on a black knit shawl for a loose layered look. Paired with a oversized vintage leather clutch, antique gold cross necklace, Lita's.
