Sundaze

 Happy Sunday all!
It's my favorite day of the week and I spent it getting a late breakfast and wandering around with my boyfriend.
Truthfully, this outfit wasn't even going to be featured on here!
But I had my camera handy and we found ourselves in a beautiful environment, and I realized what good deals I had gotten on everything I'm wearing and decided to share!  If you know me, you know I don't pay full price for anything (unless it's super rad and I save up for it ;) but after working in retail and assisting in buying for a boutique I know that with patience and persistence you can always find a good deal.  This has benefited me tremendously, since I am always searching for the best deals I end up with more money leftover in my pocket and even better, more clothes! Thats why I love Nordstrom Rack and T.J. Maxx, where I find the most killer things.
I'm wearing a little boys baseball tee I found while thrifting and turned into a crop top, with my lucky number on the back. Paired with high waisted black shorts, a flannel tied around my waist, with leopard slip ons. Kept all the accessories black and gold with a gold studded bracelet, a choker turned bracelet, purse and gold rimmed aviators.
Enjoy your Monday off babes

White on White

I'm back from my weekend get away in the UP that was spent laughing with life long friends, zero cell phone service, and being nurtured by nature.  I'm wearing a white lace bralette, midi skirt, and platforms- all from Missguided. Labor day is right around the corner, making this the perfect time to rock an all white look- not that I'm suggesting you should follow that silly "fashion" rule, but why not! I love the angelic vibe that comes along with all white, and it definitely makes you feel like your summer tan isn't quite gone yet ;)

A pineapple a day...

Sure, this two piece pineapple print set could probably belong to a small child, but when I found my  favorite fruit all over a comfy cotton get up, I couldn't say no! After an afternoon of working on upcoming DAZEY domination with Lauren, we headed out for a much need black tea lemonade from Starbucks and decided to kick it in the sunshine.
I'm wearing lace up flats from Urban Outfitters, a white and gold arrow bracelet from DAZEY, and a gold dipped lavender amethyst necklace from Solus Lupus.
Tomorrow I'm leaving to spend the weekend in the UP with all of my favorite women, I can't wait for yoga on the beach, hiking, and kayaking around the Pictured Rocks!

Smiley Face

Smile! It's almost Friday ;)
I broke up an all black ensemble by adding one of my favorite thrifting finds, a yellow smiley face purse.  Paired it with a black mini dress and knee high gladiator heels. I kept accessories to a minimum with silver studded bangles and round black shades.

Monday Morning

Here we go again...

Feeling some back to school vibes, even though I'm sure this outfit would have got me sent down to the principles office.  I'm wearing a pair of pinstripe over alls that I found while thrifting and then cut and distressed, a vintage back pack- adorned with vintage pins, and sky high platforms from Missguided.

I hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of summer and freedom before fall comes around!

Miracle Minded

I've recently been spending my meditation and journal time really reinforcing my belief in miracles and trusting that there is a greater plan in the works.  The past couple months I have had so many lessons thrown my way by the universe, and althouth I've been dealing with people and situations that fall outside of my comfort zone, I am so grateful for the challenges. I've used the challenges as an opportunity for growth, diving into A Course in Miracles and practicing viewing certain circumstances and people with love, even if I don't receive any in return.  And let's be real, that shit is challenging! Especially in this technology driven world we live in, where people turn to twitter and text to attack you instead of picking up the phone. That's where knowing your truth and who you are really comes into play, you can't let the negative emotions people try to project on to you change your vision of yourself.
I'm sure almost all of our initial reactions to when someone hurts us, is to lash out and try to hurt them back- which is a terrible pattern that will continue to happen over and over again until you choose to go about it differently.  So here's a challenge- the next time someone spews some venom your way, instead of engaging in the dilusional conflict, disengage. Seriously, don't even respond, because what you defend against you make real. Please trust the universe, trust your intuition, know that you are love- no matter what anyone says and don't waste your sacred energy on people who are not meant to be in your life any ways.
At the end of the day it feels great to know that you didn't compromise your values by stooping to their level, and that you stayed 'Miracle Minded', viewing the situation with love and handling it with grace, because people will never tell you that they wish they would have handled the situation the way you had, but they will think it.
I'll end my little rant with an affirmation straight out of the pages of my journal,
"Putting out love will only bring me love, and that is all I want!"
This affirmation helps me stay in a love driven mindset and a reminder that there is no room for negativity or fear in my life. (your life as well!)
